As a professional photographer, I’ve seen firsthand the constantly increasing demand for authentic and fresh images. It might take hours to scan through the archives of professional stock photo agencies, only to end up with worn-out motifs of mediocre quality. And usually, it doesn’t take long before the same images appear on the sites of the competitors.

ABOUT Catalin Bindiu
Self-taught photographer Cata ( Catalin Bindiu ) started out as a graffiti artist on the streets of Bucharest until he was introduced to the photography World. He has photographed everything from insects to fighter jets, underwater to aerial photography and carried out projects in the Uk and Portugal as well in countries such as Ethiopia and Zambia. ``The Whole World Is Just a Playground``
``Born in 1984 in Bucharest, Romania, during the dictatorship of Ceausescu and the post-Communist Era. Despite my tender age at the time of the revolution, I do have vivid memories of the struggles that Communism brought with it. After the revolution in 1989, the dictatorship of Ceausescu ended so Romania had access to information from all over the world.  At this point, I discovered hip-hop culture which formed a significant influence in my life and artistic development. I had a strong passion for drawing and graffiti art, and it was during that period when I first came into contact with a photographic camera. From that moment I knew that the camera would always be part of me and who I am, in order for me to communicate to the World my vision and emotions in a specific time and place which could never be relived.``
